Covenant of Roses
Covenant of Roses is a Networking and Travel site for Descendants of the Rose: North American Revolution, a group of fans from Canada, the US, and Mexico that supports and promotes the Japanese Visual Kei band Versailles Philharmonic Quintet. We also educate the public about this amazing musical performance art group and help fans to network and travel to concerts in our countries. Our Networking and Travel Site
Welcome to our current project which is to connect Versailles fans in Canada, the US, and Mexico. We want to network with all the fans allowing us to coordinate promotion of Versailles and travel to concerts in our countries. Why do we need such a site? Our countries are very large and the fans are spread out geographically. Those of us willing to volunteer time to promote Versailles need to be able to connect to each other when concert dates are announced for our countries. Also, we need fans in different areas willing to help other fans travel to their cities or countries if concerts are scheduled there by helping us coordinate travel details such as information on public transport and hotels. This would also allow fans to meet up and travel together so we do not have to travel alone in an unfamiliar city or country.
I was lucky to be able to travel from my hometown of Dallas, TX to see Versailles perform in Mexico City last year during the Holy Grail Latin America tour. It was fortunate for me that I had already traveled to this city before and knew the basics of where to stay and how to use the metro system there. I was also very fortunate to have made contact with two other fans living in Mexico, two of our administrators, who were able to meet me there and help with the unknowns about the venue and how concerts work in Mexico.
It is important to me that we set an example for all Versailles fans of what it means to truly care about others. We should really try to show hospitality to others that love our beloved Versailles and are nervous about traveling in places strange to them. ~~ Radha
